A handy panel with access all the animation sliders you need! Compatible with all versions of Blender from 3.0.1+ to 4.2.0+ (please get in touch if you run into issues before leaving a review)

Sliders this tool offers:

Noise - Scale your selected keys with random noise each time you drag (hint, combine with baking to achieve really quick noise!)

Wave - Scale your selected keys in opposite directions like a sine wave

Scale Average - Scale your selected keys from their average value

Scale Left and Right - Scale your selected keys towards or away from their leftmost or rightmost neighbour

Push/Pull - Scale your selected keys from their value relative to both sides (intensifying or softening the overall animation)

Ease - Recalculates your selected keys towards the leftmost or rightmost neighbour in an ease. Great for smooth transitions, or can be done on multiple keys to soften over time (like a noise that gradually decreases).

Connect - Moves all selected keys together toward your leftmost or rightmost neighbour (a slider version of Paste Connect)

Overshoot - Adds a key after your last selection that can be positioned for an overshoot. By default, it'll place the key using the golden ratio. If toggled, 'Overshoot from playhead' will instead place the key where your playhead is for direct control.

Bake Keys - Will bake your selected keys using the provided step value. If a channel is selected but no keys, it will bake the whole playback range

Simplify Curve - This is a built in Blender operator, put here for quick access. It toggles a slider which lets you simplify the curve by removing and recalculating keys

Butterworth Smooth - This is a built in Blender operator, put here for quick access. It toggles a slider which lets you smooth out the keys. If on an older version before Butterworth was added, it'll use the legacy smoothing operator.

Options - Deadzone & Tangents - If enabled, deadzone will give your sliders a smooth deadzone around their default value, making it easier to do fine adjustments. If enabled, tangents will recalculate your keys' tangents as they move, otherwise they will stay the same. Please note that other settings on your curves such as handle smoothing may still affect the tangents so be sure to turn those off.

FAQ:

Can I overshoot the scaling? - Yes, all sliders allow you to overshoot. This means that a slider value of 50 (or -50) will usually flatten out the keys based on the function. This is a great way to mirror animation if needed by going all the way to 100 or -100.

Half of these are already in Blender, what's the point? - It's true, Blender has quite a few slider operators already! Sadly they are nested in multiple menus, taking 3 clicks to open and then another to confirm the value. Sure, you can hotkey if you'd like. But for people who are used to tools like Animbot for Maya, it's nice to have everything in one easily accessible place. Plus, I've added a few more like Noise and Wave!

Can you add such and such slider or operator? - Please reach out to me, I'd be happy to expand this addon with more sliders or buttons as requested! Currently I've kept it simple enough to all fit onscreen using a typical graph editor size.

Anim Sliders is free because tools should be accessible. However, if you wish to support the development of future tools and find this addon useful for your workflow, please consider setting a price to cover a coffee or two :) Thank you
